Assessment
Participants are given individual assignments and group assignments each semester. Monthly tests will be given, and internal examinations will be held on completion of each module and also at the end of the training programme. Each participant will be given prior notice.
The external examination will be given at the end of the course by the external examining body. The date for external exam is set by the examining body/bodies.
Internal verification of each examination will be provided by the school’s internal verifier. That is, each assessment will be reviewed and dual marked and signed to eliminate perceived biases.
Participants are expected to attain a minimum average of 60% for internal courses and 50% for external examinations. Students who have a failing grade at the end of the semester will be allowed to re-sit the end of semester exam only once. If they continue to fail, they will be asked to repeat the semester. NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO GRADUATE IF THEY ARE FAILING THE COURSE.
